Multi-Component Dosing Function on Loading or Unloading

For DGT Series Microcontrollers

Configuration that allows the dosing of different products, when loading or unloading, as well as mixing and creating formulas, with the possibility to manage mixers, burners or vibrators.

Database with 16 products or stages, which can be:

  • Automatic dosing
  • Manual dosing, with the possibility to manage a control light
  • Full or partial download
  • Partial discharge, to divide the whole material dosed in equal quantities
  • Timer, for activating mixers, burners or agitators for a predetermined period of time
  • Pause to allow user manual operations
  • Manual weight, to add pre-weighed quantities to the dosage

Database with 15 formulas, each can contain:

  • up to 8 products / stages with target, gear change threshold, product in suspension, tolerance +/-
  • values ​​for minimum and maximum tare

Possible operations:

  • START / RESTART or PAUSE / RESET dosing cycle, and enter / select dosing formula.
  • Automatic recalculation of formula targets by entering the total weight to be dosed.
  • Programming of formulas, products and dosing cycle management through a serial communication protocol.
  • Selecting the formula through 2 external inputs.
  • Double dosing speed: fast and slow.
  • Each product / step can be assigned a direct contact, for slow dosing, or a binary combination of contacts to encode up to 15 products / steps.
  • The slow dosing contact may be constantly or intermittently active.
  • Indication of weight within and outside the tolerance range, dosing completion and alarm on.
  • Check for the presence of tare at the beginning of dosing.
  • Automatic correction of the weight of the suspended product.
  • Repetitions of programmable dosing cycles. Infinite cycle function.
  • Dosed weight tolerance test with guided correction on the display.
  • Checking the maximum dosing time.
  • Display operation notifications.
  • Automatic printing of dosing and consumption data (only with the thermal printer option). Possibility to save and print total weighed values.

Operating mode (automatic):
1. Once the start dosing command is received, the presence of the strength and weight stability on the scale is checked and the automatic tare is executed and the automatic dosing is activated: the microcontroller executes the first stage of the formula.
2. Once the first stage is completed, the microcontroller automatically switches to the next stage, executing the automatic tare.
3. At the end of the last configured step, the instrument starts the fine dosing cycle and waits for the new dosing to start or automatically restarts the next cycle.
